What actually is an Autodidact?
It’s important to note that no one is exclusively self-taught since we are social creatures and there are external forces outside of the will, such as nature and nurture acting upon us in conjunction.
Find a mentor. It’s best to learn from primary sources. If you don’t have access to a primary source, obtain access to one, or spend time learning digitally or secondhand from your favorite sources.
The Autodidact is an artist. This isn’t shocking news for the self-aware student of life. The self-taught person knows he is a creator, an interpreter, and an actor rolled into one. The truth is we are all artists, co-creating, tapping into the stream of the collective unconscious. This ability is innate. Some are just more consciously or subconsciously aware of it than others. Some discover it sooner than later whether in practice or through observation. Others harness it without even understanding it at the conceptual level. And some people never discover this realm of possibility, albeit they are human too.

Do what you love, because time is a human construct. Some people take forever to do nothing and others prefer racing each other to red lights. I assure you, there's another way.
The Latin phrase "Festina Lente" means "[to] make haste slowly".
Ever since I was a child I was fascinated with achieving different states of consciousness, and this very concept permeated through every moment I put all available energy into whatever I was doing.
Whatever you do, make haste slowly (28.6).
